About Kristina Phillips

VISION  is the

art of seeing what  is  INVISIBLE to others."

~Johnathan Swift

Architecture is something that Kristina is truly passionate about and has been since an early age. Kristina is very fortunate to be the first person in her family that has been able to pursue their passion of being a designer. With full support from her family and friends, it makes her even more determined and excited to blaze her own trail and achieve her goal of becoming an Architect.

Thus far, Kristina has taken full advantage of every opportunity that has come her way to develop both her design skills through various mediums, methods, studies and effective communication.

In addition, Kristina has been fortunateto experience various cultures first hand and how Art and Architecture is viewed and used in different environments. From studying abroad in London, England (Summer 2011 Design Studio), participating in the nationally recognized Over- the-Rhine Residency and Atelier programs, traveling to her Father’s home country of Trinidad and Tobago, along with many other influential places in and out of the United States. These opportunities have both challenged and advanced her character and have greatly influenced the way that she approaches design.

Kristina is ready to use her talents, ambition, experience, and future opportunities, to not only create beautiful buildings, but structures that better the lives of those who use the spaces. In addition, Kristina believes that archi- tecture should inspire and bring out the best in people and their environments through aesthetics, function and sustainable means. As a recent graduate of Miami University’s Creative Arts College with a bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Global Perspectives on Sustainability, Kristina is looking forward to becoming a vital addition to your design team.
